Community Outreach

At New York Community Hospital, serving the health and lives of the people in our community is our first priority. That's why we offer a wide array of educational programs, support groups, health screenings and other informative, helpful programs for patients and community members alike. By implementing these programs, we hope to encourage each person to do something healthy for themselves and their loved ones. If you would like information on the classes, programs and other events taking place at New York Community Hospital or in the Midwood and Madison Park communities, call our Patient Information Line at 718-692-5300.

Our devoted, enthusiastic volunteers are an important part of the staff at New York Community Hospital. Whether delivering flowers to a patient's room, helping visitors find their way in the hospital or lending a helping hand wherever they're needed, they help both patients and visitors feel comfortable and cared for. To learn how to become a volunteer at New York Community Hospital, call Volunteer Services at 718-692-8757.
