Podiatry has become a highly integrated service at New York Community Hospital because of the special interest and expertise of our board-certified podiatrists, the respect and cooperation of the division of orthopedic surgery and a fully accredited two-year podiatry residency that attracts excellent candidates from across the country.

Our podiatrists employ a wide variety of medical and surgical podiatric services to treat leg, heel and foot pain and injuries, and are an especially important adjunct to the management of patients with peripheral vascular disease (PVD).
